2 Timothy 1:3

March 1-April 10, 2020

In the 41 Days leading up to Easter weekend, Southpoint is embarking on a prayer focus to ask God for an outpouring of HIs presence and power to advance the Gospel so more people can meet, know and follow Jesus. Prayer must be foundational. Our power to be used by Him begins with prayer. That power is not our own, it comes from God. We accomplish nothing using our own wisdom and power. We must be completely dependent on God.

We want to capture the heart of God for His mission in the world.  Southpoint is a Great Commission-driven church which makes more and better disciples. The Easter season which celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus is a time when unchurched, dechurched, and nominal believers are more open to that message and to the Church.

So use this guide to help focus your prayers. Spend some personal time in daily Encounter with God. Pray with your Group weekly. Pray before and during weekend services. Schedule extra time to arrive early and pray throughout the building or auditorium. Pray for people in your life who need the love of God, the hope of eternal life, the Good News of forgiveness, and the fellowship of a spiritual family. Pray for opportunities to share your faith and invite them to church.

You could begin your prayer time by using the acronym C.H.A.T.
Confess any known sin in your life.
Honor God with your praise and adoration.
Ask God for the requests below and any on your heart.
Thank Him for His sacrifice, for what He has done and is doing in your life and in our church.
